Carol Channing To Light Palm Springs Christmas Tree
The city of Palm Springs will light its 22-foot “green” Christmas Tree at 5:15 p.m. Thursday at Frances Stevens Park, 555 N. Palm Canyon Drive. Legendary entertainer Carol Channing will be on hand to help with the lighting. Attendees will be treated to hot chocolate, cookies, caroling and an appearance by Santa Claus at 5 p.m..
All are encouraged to bring canned food items to donate for a food drive.
